The Floc de Gascogne ladies academy

Floc de GascogneThe Floc de Gascogne Ladies Academy was founded in January 1980 in Cravencères, in the Gers and became the first Ladies group in France.

Even though it is run by a ladies only board, which could lead one to consider it as being exclusively feminine, the Academy has many more male members than women. Ladies Academy

What is their motto ? ''Cloaks on, bottles and off we go!'' What is their goal ? To introduce people to Floc de Gascogne, to endorse it and promote it at every possible event: be it gastronomical, cultural, sporting,  or professional, as well as at fairs and wine shows ...

The Floc de Gascogne Ladies Academy members wear a bunch of flowers pinned to their cloaks corresponding to the three bouquets found in Armagnac: plum, roses and violets.Floc de Gascogne Ladies

The swearing-in ceremonies, along with the very friendly meetings, and the meeting up with other gourmet groups ensure a very original and valued endorsement for Floc de Gascogne.

All the more so as they promote the hospitality of the Gascon people !
