Production :

• 780 hectares in three departments : the Gers (80%), the Landes and the Lot-et-Garonne.
• 120 wine growers and 5 cooperative cellars ( 20 wine growing leaders who produce 80% of the whole market).
• 10 000 hecto-litres produced.

Organisation :

• 20 retail outlets.
• Wider range of products for the Armagnac producers who can open their production to other markets.
• Floc de Gascogne uses 15 % of the annual production of Armagnac.

Sales :

• About 1million bottles are marketed each year of which 10 % is exported, mainly to Belgium.
• 8,9 million€ turnover each year.
• The interprofession and the producers union encourage sales development, mainly in the South-West (Aquitaine + Midi-Pyrenees) and in the Parisian area for France and also in Belgium.

Retailing :

• 60 % by the wine growers as direct sales.
• 30 % in retail outlets.
• 10 % in the traditional distributional circuits (specialised wine shops, fine groceries..), in restaurants and, since 2008, through internet sales.
